Public invited to share views on local transport
People in Wiltshire will be able to have their say on a local transport plan (LTP) which will come into effect next year through a public webinar.
Motorists, cyclists, pedestrians and anyone using public transport in the county is invited to attend the online event on 13 January at 18:00 GMT.
It covers road safety, highway network management and enhancement, car parking, buses, rail travel, walking and wheeling, freight, electric vehicles and more.
The plan is currently out for public consultation until 24 January, and the upcoming webinar will be an opportunity to find out more and ask questions.
According to the Local Democracy Reporting Service, the current LTP ends in 2026.
Leader of Wiltshire Council, Richard Clewer, has described the plans as the "strategic framework" around which future funding will be built.
Councillor Tamara Reay, cabinet member for transport, added that the new plan would employ a "place-based approach" as what was right for towns might not be right for rural areas.
Residents must sign up to attend the webinar.
