Man jailed for teenage sex attacks on children

A man has been jailed for seven years for a series of sex attacks on children in Fife when he was a teenager.
Brandon Robb, 28, preyed on two girls and a boy - the youngest just eight years old - in the town of Leslie between 2011 and 2015.
The High Court in Edinburgh heard that Robb also acted in a threatening and abusive manner to two women between 2019 and 2023.
Robb denied the offences after his child victims came forward years later. Judge Lord Lake jailed him after a jury found him guilty.
"It is clear that your victims have suffered greatly," the judge said.
"The effects on them have been long lasting and have been experienced over many years."
Chaotic childhood
After his conviction, prosecutor Margaret Barron revealed that Robb had 21 previous convictions and had served time in prison.
He was jailed for animal offences in 2014, after admitting using his dog to hunt a rare piebald deer.
The court heard that Robb lived a "feral existence" and was an "urban hunter".
He killed the deer while awaiting sentencing for another animal crime where he 30 ducks from a farm in Fife.
Defence advocate Richard Goddard KC told Lord Lake his client had a "chaotic" childhood and this affected him as an adult.
Jurors heard how Robb raped his first victim, aged eight, in 2011 when he would have been about 14 years old.
On several occasions from December 2012 Robb repeatedly raped and assaulted a 12-year-old girl.
In May 2015, Robb also sexually assaulted a 12-year-old boy.
Lord Lake put Robb under supervision for six years on his release and placed him on the sex offenders register for life.
