Motorcyclist in his 40s dies in crash with car

A motorcyclist has died following a crash with a car.

The crash involving a grey BMW and a black and white Honda motorcycle happened on the A347, Talbot Avenue, near the Roslin Road junction on Thursday shortly before 18:00 BST.

Dorset Police said the motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. His next of kin has been informed. Those travelling in the BMW were not seriously injured.

The force has urged witnesses, and anyone who captured any relevant dashcam footage, to come forward.
