Cameras, ticket machines and signs have been vandalised at three North Yorkshire beauty spots, according to police.

The facilities at Swinsty, Blubberhouses, and Stack Point car parks have been damaged several times over the past few months, a North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said.

Officers said the damage had caused disruption for people visiting the sites.

A force spokesperson said police were "actively monitoring the parks and are taking actions necessary to identify those responsible," and appealed for anyone with information to contact officers.
