Murder accused in court after woman found stabbed

A man has appeared in court charged with the murder of a woman found stabbed at a house.

The 44-year-old woman's body was found in Other Road, Redditch, on Monday morning after police were called.

Chris Hemming, 46, of Other Road, was charged with murder and appeared before Kidderminster Magistrates Court on Wednesday.

He was remanded into custody and is due to appear at Worcester Crown Court on Thursday.
