Residents were sprayed with a "noxious substance" after a window of their property was smashed, police said.

Officers were called to Victoria Place, in Wisbech, Cambridgeshire, at about 22:30 GMT.

"Police and ambulance crews attended, the occupants were checked over but did not go to hospital," a spokesperson for the force said.

There have been no arrests, but an investigation into "the criminal damage and the administering of a noxious substance" is ongoing, they added.
