Grandmother knits Pudsey jumpers to raise money
A grandmother has knitted and sold more than 50 Pudsey jumpers this year to raise money for Children in Need.
Judith Smith, from Kings Hill in Kent, started knitting the charitable jumpers during lockdown in 2020 and has sold more than 80 since, raising almost £1,000.
She said: "I delivered one on Sunday and the lady was absolutely over the moon with it, and others were so grateful and know how much work goes into them."
Ms Smith explained that it took a few days to make a children's jumper and a week to make one for an adult - although she had only ever knitted one that was full-sized.
Ms Smith said she decided that 2024 was going to be her last year selling the charitable jumpers.
"I just enjoy knitting jumpers and all the money that I raise goes to Children in Need."
She added: "I love seeing the children wearing them."
