Gloria Steinem: The desire to control the womb is often lethal
The face of the women's rights movements in the US during the 1970s and an icon of feminism, Gloria Steinem has spent the last 50 years focusing her efforts on advancing women's political participation and reproductive rights.
At 89, she says bodily autonomy should be at the top of the women’s rights agenda.
In this interview with BBC 100 Women, she talks about the dangers of cancel culture and the progress for women she's seen during her five decades in the spotlight.
