Police are appealing for witnesses after a pedestrian was injured in a hit-and-run crash in Burpham

Police are appealing for witnesses after a pedestrian was injured in a hit-and-run crash.

Emergency services were called to London Road in Burpham, near Guildford, at about 12:00 GMT on 21 February.

A pedestrian required medical treatment for serious injuries, Surrey Police said.

Police are particularly keen to trace the driver of a blue car involved in the crash, which failed to stop at the scene, a spokesperson said.

"The driver is urged to come forward and speak with officers."

No arrests have been made.

Anyone who witnessed the crash near the junction with Woodruff Avenue, or who has CCTV, dashcam or helmet footage of the incident, is urged to contact the force.
