Driver dies after two cars crash on Wiltshire road
A man has been killed after a crash involving two cars.
Wiltshire Police said it happened on the A338 between Collingbourne Ducis and Collingbourne Kingston at about 18:15 GMT on Wednesday.
A man from Poole in Dorset who was driving a Nissan X Trail died after being taken to Southampton Hospital with serious injuries.
A passenger in the same car, a 56-year-old man from Salisbury, suffered a suspected heart attack at the scene.
He was taken to the same hospital by air ambulance and remains in hospital.
The driver of a Ford Ranger, a man in his 50s, also from Salisbury, was taken to Salisbury District Hospital with minor injuries.
Police have appealed for any witnesses to get in touch.
A spokesperson said they believed a driver of a lorry that was just ahead of the collision may have been unaware of the crash, and could be a key witness to the investigation.
