On a night when all eyes were on the Champions League, the Premier League witnessed its biggest comeback win in more than 20 years.

Away from the television cameras and the drama in Madrid and Dortmund, Bournemouth and Luton played out one of the most extraordinary Premier League matches of this or any recent season.

Bournemouth won 4-3, having been three goals down at the break.

An endangered eel that was spotted swimming in a puddle in a road is thought to have been stranded by a flood, according to a nature group.

The creature, believed to be a European eel, was caught on camera by a postman on Ringwood Road in Verwood, Dorset, on 23 February.

Richard Holgate snapped the photos while on his post round.

Police chief apologises to LGBT community

Dorset Police has become the 13th force in the country to apologise for its past treatment of the LGBT community.

In a letter, Chief Constable Amanda Pearson said sorry "for any physical and mental harm and trauma" caused by the way "previous laws were enforced".

It was sent to the Peter Tatchell Foundation in response to the charity's #ApologiseNow campaign.

A supermarket delivery driver has been restoring scruffy street signs that he spots on his rounds.

Bobby Burden Brewer, who is also an artist, has switched from painting canvasses to sprucing up signs near his home in north Dorset.

He began his unusual hobby in 2022 while living in north Devon, before moving to Dorset last year.

Taxi-driving Elvis raising money for Comic Relief

A taxi driver has been performing as Elvis Presley while in his cab to raise money for charity.

Tony Mclennan, from Poole, has been driving for Ferndown Taxis for five years and last year he also began performing as an Elvis tribute artist.

Inspired by his childhood in care and the war in Ukraine, he decided to raise money for Comic Relief by combining his passions.
