People in the north-east of England and Cumbria saw chilly scenes as snow fell across the region in November.

According to the meteorological calendar, winter begins on 1 December and ends on the last day of February.

However, snow and wintry showers are not unusual for the end of November.

Our Weather Watchers have been sharing photos they snapped in the colder temperatures over the last couple of weeks.
