The survey aims to improve the health and wellbeing of women and girls in North Yorkshire

Women and girls have been asked to share their views on improving healthcare services in North Yorkshire.

Responses to the survey will be used to help the council decide what areas to focus on over the coming years, a spokesperson said.

Contraception, mental health and menopause are among the topics on the questionnaire.

Women of all ages are being encouraged to take part in the anonymous survey, which closes on 15 December.

North Yorkshire Council's director of public health, Louise Wallace said: "We want women to live safe and healthy lives and we want them to feel heard in their health and wellbeing needs.

"The survey is designed to gather your thoughts and experiences to understand what is most important to you about health and wellbeing, including factors such as housing, employment, and the environment around us."

Women would also be asked for their views on breast health, regular check-ups, healthy ageing, pregnancy, infertility and cervical screening.
