Christmas and travel plans changed by Storm Bert
Yellow weather warnings for wind and rain are in place as Storm Bert hits the West of England.
Events have been adjusted, with a Christmas lights switch-on and plans to move activities indoors.
There are changes for travel too, with the M48 Severn Bridge closed and South Western Railway asking people to only travel if essential, with longer journey times.
The rain and wind warnings are in place until Sunday evening, with the South West expected to see up to 75mm (3in) of rain.
The National Grid has reported power cuts in Bristol and Somerset, including Weston-super-Mare.
In Somerset, Bishops Lydeard AFC said the cup game against Cully Rangers had been rearranged for 3 December. It explained heavy rain on an "already soaked pitch" was the cause.
Christmas festivities in Gloucestershire have been affected - the lights will still be switched on at 17:00 GMT in Moreton-in-Marsh, but the outdoor market has been postponed.
In Cheltenham, some of the singers and entertainment in the town centre will perform inside Cav House, John Lewis, the Pump Rooms and the Wilson.
'Reduce speed'
In Wiltshire, the well-known Longleat estate has closed to visitors for the day.
There have been a few changes to events in Swindon. The Christmas lights switch-on for the town centre has been postponed and will take place on 30 November. The Christmas market will be on, but will be smaller, with only the chalets operating.
The switch-on for the Old Town area in Swindon have been moved to 1 December.
Salisbury City Council said due to the weather gazebos at the Charter Market were not allowed.
The AA asked motorists to reduce their speed and leave plenty of space behind other vehicles if they need to travel.
Motorists are also advised to have winter essentials like warm, waterproof clothing, a shovel, a torch and a flask of hot drink with them.
