A developer has said it has completed its purchase of three sites across Devon and Cornwall as part of plans to build more than 500 new homes.

Wain Homes acquired two sites in Cornwall at Truro and Liskeard and one site in Devon at Yelland.

It said it planned to start building work later this month on 274 new homes at Dudman Farm on the outskirts of Truro city centre, while 202 homes would be built in Liskeard at Tencreek Farm.

The firm added 80 homes would be built at Yelland, in north Devon, with the first scheduled to be completed by spring 2025.
