Suffolk Police and paramedics are at the scene of a collision involving the police car and motorcycle

Officers and paramedics have been at the scene of a crash involving a police car and a motorcycle.

A Suffolk Police spokesperson said the road was closed at 11:45 GMT after the collision in London Road at the junction with Ranelagh Road in Ipswich.

Six police cars were at the scene as well as an ambulance.

Officers have been helping to organise traffic flow in the area, while the motorcycle involved has been moved to the pavement area.
