Murder arrest as woman dies after safety 'concern'

A 45-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after the death of a woman who was found seriously injured.

West Yorkshire Police said they were called at 10:46 GMT to reports of a concern for safety at an address on Airedale Avenue in Cottingley, Bingley.

The woman died at the scene and the arrested man remains in custody, said a force spokesperson.

A scene is currently in place while inquiries continue.
