Muntjac deer rescued after tangling with railings
Firefighters have rescued a muntjac deer that got itself all in a tangle in a set of railings.
Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue's White Watch Cambridge crew was called to free the animal after it got stuck in Impington, just after 05:00 GMT on New Year's Day.
A spokesperson said: "This muntjac deer must've had a little too much fun celebrating the new year."
Despite the animal's apparent confusion, it was unharmed and the firefighters were able to release it back into the wild.
